Rain Rain Go Away

I told the hubby not to bring this one home.  He had to give Reagan a bath.

This has been the strangest winter with high temperatures, thunderstorms, and rain, rain, and more rain.  We are so tired of the rain!  It makes me grumpy when my agility hounds are not getting plenty of exercise and training.  They are annoying and, of course, very well rested when I get home from work each day.  I am Type A and it messes up my schedule when the afternoon is filled with rain.
Seven and Riley after a 2 mile slog... I mean jog.

Sometimes we hike or jog even if it is raining.  It is not the most fun we have ever had, but at least we get our exercise.

I am especially tired of thunderstorms.  One of my husband's greyhounds is thunder phobic, so normally we enjoy our winter break from storms.  But not this year!  That is my complaint for today!

the weather is haywire here too - it's flooding again in Queensland this year, and we are going to have a whole week of temperatures in excess of 100F :P the dogs don't even want to go for a walk

It's a very weird winter-It's almost February yet the other day we had rainstorms here in Detroit!

You must have all our rain!!! We are in a drought out here in the West. Warm dry winter. Please give our rain back.

It drives me nuts to steam clean, only to have it all muddy again within days. Definitely been a wet winter.

I'm tired of the weather here, too! After the tons of snow we got last year, I'm not really missing the snow, but I'm tired of grey, rainy days. I would really like a glimpse of the sun.

I'll take some of that rain, too! We're in drought conditions down here once again. Can't complain about the temperature, though; that's been just about perfect. The dogs are loving it- they come in around 5:00 every day and bug me to take them on a walk. (My girl has even gotten so bold as to nip me on the arm; she's a stinker, but she knows we all need our walks!) ;)

Think the weather is weird everywhere. We are getting really high winds... and I HATE the wind, especially when it blows up my tail! Deccy x

We too have rain, rain and rain, which equals mud everywhere. Actually starting to wish it was cold but dry rather than this yucky rain.

I hear ya! I'm sick of the warm weather. Don't get me wrong, neither Summit nor myself thermoregulate well enough to stay warm in the cold Canadian winters, but the slush and rain in JANUARY this year are driving me nuts! The worst is the ice from the constant melt and freeze, making it too slick to jog or even walk some days! :(

Your winter is sounding a lot like our so called summer here! It hasn't happened yet, we've had heaps of rain and it's been unseasonably cold a lot of the time. Mother Nature is trying to tell us something!

But you have luck in unlucky situation - your dogs are short-haired :))

It has been a weird winter! I am sure they enjoyed their slog but props to you for enduring the rain for some exercise!

Gracie, I would just contact your local adoption group and see if they need any help with anything.
