Run Thru

Recently, there was an agility run thru ten minutes from my house. An agility run thru is a practice session for those looking to run a course with distractions and spectators. I brought Reagan just for fun and she ran the course twice. She is just so much fun to run. This is a small arena and a very tight course, so it was tough on both greyhounds. Here is one of Reagan's runs.

Nothing seems to bother Reagan when she is on course and running, but she is not a dog you can hang out with. When people are around, it is difficult to control the noises they make and inevitably something will scare her. This was just for fun. I still have no plans to attempt competing with Reagan again.

Well, even if she has the occasional run-thru as her agility career, I think she'll be a very happy dog. :) It's too bad that she can't compete because she really does seem to love agility, but, as you've just shown, there are other ways to have fun with it that don't involve the stress of a trial.

Ahh, at least she got to do something she loves!

She did a great job. I'm glad you're still able to get her out to practice and have some fun.

She IS a lot of fun to watch, and it's obvious that she loves the work. I'm glad to see her happy and relaxed!

It looks like Reagan has found her forte ... fun agility, no pressure:-) She sure was having a blast out there!

It would be great if I had the space to have my agility obstacles at home.
