Perry Agility

Riley and I competed in agility in Perry, Georgia last weekend. She is really coming along nicely. She now has 2 qualifying runs (needs 3) towards her Open Standard and Open Jumpers titles. I cannot wait for her to move up to Excellent.... soon!
Here are three of Riley's agility runs.

My goal right now is to qualify once at each two-day trial, so I was very pleased to have achieved that goal twice!

I love watching Riley work! Way to go on a great weekend's work!

That cracked me up about butt licking, but I'm almost afraid that it may come to that! It's insane!

Bless her heart. In that first run, it's as if she's sure she knows a faster way through the course than the one you're showing her. She's all, "Move over, mom. I'm doing this one." I'm glad she settled down nicely in the other runs.

Super nice. I really admire your handling style -- so smooth and flowy.

FAN tastic!!! So exciting, that last run, and to hear the people on the video commenting (even if they WERE the people taking the video!).

You and the dogs inspire me so...

I'm very impressed with your lovely hounds :). I'm hoping to adopt my first greyhound this December after spending over six years raising guide puppies for guiding eyes for the blind (I like training the labs, but wouldn't want one as my pet!). Needless to say, I'm looking forward to a more mellow, milder dog for my personal companion, but would still like to enter them in obedience-type activities, as you appear to do with your greys :). I'm excited to see what you and your pack do next!
