Hanging by a Thread

A few weeks ago, we finally had some real snow! Does 3 inches count, People from the North? If it is not snow, then it is rain. This winter we seem to find ourselves stuck in the house more than I am used to.I am really finding Reagan and Riley's interest in the rope toys to be really funny. They both have become quite the little tuggers. Tugging is a really popular reward with agility folks that run retrievers and herding breeds. Any dog could love tugging, but I just have not found it to be a favorite past time with my greyhounds.... until now.

The both of them teamin up against you to pull was so cute!! Maybe being able to watch everyone else tugging after all that agility fun has turned them on to it?

I am in Atlanta right now for work, and it is snowing outside. Crazy weather. I sure hope the airport stays open. My guys only tug when we have guests.

Welcome to Atlanta, Gyeong! Yes, its quite the blizzard going on outside. I'm on the 19th floor right now in Atlanta.

That is funny your dogs only tug around guests. Like "look how much fun we are!" and then they go lazy when the guests leave none the wiser.

Kibeth doesn't really play "tug" but she loves her tugger rope. I'm training her to heel with it because she automatically prances on my left side, shoulder at my leg, eyes up at it and me. It's really quite cute and funny. Occasionally, she barks in greedy anticipation.

Yeah. That counts as snow. ;-)

Our greyhounds LOVE to play tug! Just watch your fingers!

Thanks for the approval, Wishes.

Houndstooth, that is why I got a long rope... my fingers were too close for comfort.

Blaze also loves to tug. Even with a long tug toy, he likes to shorten up the slack and sometimes get a little too close to fingers.

I think if it turns everything a pretty white then it counts as snow. :-)

I can't get Nigel to play tug after all of these years. Of course, I have never proposed kitty tug...

Dino likes to tug. He used to tug with the rope a lot, but now a days he prefers his stuffies when we play tug.

Yes, three inches counts! Love the way you've got snow to fall on your blog :-)
My greys have ignored their one tug toy, it's only things that squeak that get them excited.
