Prior To Crash and Burn

Last week, I made an attempt to video by myself. These are videos of Reagan doing jump sequences with lots of crosses. Crosses are basically when I have to change sides with Reagan so we can head in another direction. Front crosses happen in front of the dog. Rear crosses happen behind the dog.

Reagan's jumping is coming along nicely. She is keeping most of the rails up and is crossing nicely. Much better jumper than Riley!!! :-)

Sorry the videos are far away and unedited.

Jen, you two make it look so easy and natural, it's really fun to watch. I've said it before, but I love Reagan's jumping; there's just something so puppy-like and joyful about it.

I love watching your dogs in action. Reagan looks like she's having a blast. I wish it was as easy as you make it seem.

I can not adequately express my admiration and awe at your being able to train your greyhounds to jump with such confidence and joy.
We brought Hero to a rescue fundraiser/ picnic over the summer. They had a little course set up (the jumps were only a few inches tall- think basset hound height ;-) Hero ran up to the first jump, stopped, stepped over it, started running again, got to the next jump, stopped- looked at me as if to say; "another one what are you kidding"?? He saw that there were hurdles both in fron and behind him, and promptly laid down.

i sat roxy down and made her watch this video. she wanted to know how she could get on circus of the stars like reagan. i'm just not sure my child is cut out for agility. :)

Fire & Tornado are both cheering their cousin, Reagan on! Tornado wanted me to inform you that he's been jumping hurdles as well. However, his are "moving" hurdles with a name....Lucy! :)

Geez. I was expecting an original music score, subtitles and long dissolve sequences.

LOL. You two make it look effortless...poetry in motion.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I sometimes feel silly posting this stuff, but some of you seem to really like it. Hopefully its helpful to some as well. I just like the journal aspect of it and being able to look back.
