Popular Girl

If Reagan was a teenager in high school, I would imagine her to be one of the popular girls. You know the type.... petite, beautiful, and a little stuck up.

Her bouncy nature would be perfect for cheer leading. She would love to show off her assets.

She would insist on wearing only the latest styles and name brand labels.........

And throw a nasty tantrum if she did not get her way.

She would probably refuse to smile in family pictures with a wicked little look on her face. "Are we almost done yet?" she would say.

She would probably be a flirt and hang around the boys too much.

Thank goodness Reagan is just a wonderful greyhound.

She definitely sounds like a popular girl! It's funny how we think of our dogs like this...I always think of Hoover as the equivalent of a kid who would eat paste in elementary school, just because he's so goofy. I'm not sure about Bruno, but it's sure food for thought. :-)

I think of Canoe as "Coach Canoe"...a PE teacher...

June is one of those "Goth girls" and foster Garth is one of those old guys that hangs around with a stinky cigar with a story for every story.

Do you think you're pretty? Good cuz you're not... LOL, I'll never forget those words from a popular gal said to be in the 5th or 6th grade...yep I can totally see Reagan saying that too.

You so captured the "popular girl" in her. Thanks for the laugh!

Another great post! Thanks for making us smile- and think.
I couldn't come up with a common high-school "type" for Hero. The closest I could common up with is Shaggy from Scooby-Doo.
Skinny- and can run fast in certain circumstances-(though not really athletic) he would rather be sleeping), highly food motivated but not aggressive about it, though he can be convinced to do some really "scary" things (like walk on the smooth tile floor) by the promise of a hero-snack treat, and loves to ride in the mystery machine (my mini van).

i think seka would be the emo girl - hanging by herself in the corner, dark and mysterious. roxy would be the bouncy cheerleader type who gets all the attention and when she doesn't she throws a fit. not the most popular girl, but she would fit in.

I'll never forget Ron, one of Cynda Crawford's dogs. Cynda is Kate's sister and was our vet when we first moved down here. When she went to UF, several of her friends took her dogs for a few months until she could get settled in a new house, etc.

We got Ron, because Cynda said she didn't think anybody else could deal with him. I LOVED him! But, I described him as a canine nerd...
If he were human, he'd have high-water pants, tape on his glasses and a "kick me" sign taped to his back. He just annoyed the heck out of all the other dogs. Ron was the polar opposite of Reagan!!!
