I'm Jennifer living near Atlanta, Georgia. This blog is about my greyhound adventures. Thank you for letting me brag about my wonderful greyhounds and share our ups and downs as we train and compete in agility and obedience. We have also done a little dock jumping, tracking, swimming, and lots of hiking. No couch potatoes on this blog! My hounds still work and play for a living and they love every minute of it!

We drove home from Orlando, Florida on Monday the 17th. Since the dogs were stuck in the van all day, we stopped at the Perry, Georgia fairgrounds to let the hounds play.
Maddie took full advantage of the space and the huge puddles from recent rains. It was hilarious to watch her.
Her antics remind me of Barbie, I think she would have been just like that as a pup if she wasn't in kennels! She loves nothing more than running through puddles. :) The running face slides are pretty funny too, Barbie still does those, and she will do a stationary face rub and then take off sprinting if you whacker on the bum hahh!
Reminds me a bit of our first greyhound, who adored the beach. We don't live very near to one, but we made the effort now and then to take him to the coast, and he loved it. The best for him was when we went to Black Rock Sands for a family holiday (we went twice) because the sands there are flat and endless, and there are broad, shallow areas where the outgoing tide gets trapped. He chases those darned seagulls till he was near collapse - talk about tired but happy!!
Lucky it's still warm enough to play in puddles! I hope Kili will like water but we won't know until the summer rolls around. I also love the face slides! Too cute!

Maddie...Your video had me roaring. Especially with you scooting around the ground on your face.
so cute!
so amazing you have puddles ;)
I just Love how she does those running face slides, roles right up on her back and then .. on her merry way again :)

That is hilarious! She reminds me of Indi in the water. Why does being wet make a dog so crazy?
She's getting so big!
A puddle bath with a face rub. Like a spa out there. Looks like the big girls wanted in on the action.
A dog playing is so joyful! Reminds one to enjoy fully what we do!
Awwwww! So, so sweet! Her face just radiates joy.
