Seven's agility trial in Perry was not as successful as Riley's. She did not earn any Double Qualifiers, but it was not for a lack of trying. Many of her runs were very good. Here are the clean runs we did have:
We did make it through all of our runs with no trick wrist issues, but I biked Seven twice and her bad wrist came up lame both times for a few minutes. But she was always fine for her agility runs later in the day. I do all I can to make sure her wrist is warmed up and loose. Rotations, stretching, flexing, and compressing seem to ready the joint for the torquing and twisting that occur in agility. Plus she is on joint supplements and Adequan. I just want to keep Seven running for as long as possible. She loves it. Maybe other than chasing squirrels and rabbits, I really think agility is her next favorite thing to do.
I did make an interesting discovery about Seven this weekend. Apparently, she likes to run with her tongue hanging out the side of her mouth. Silly hound!
